Requested by a customer for what sounded like a super logical reason for some folks, so we tested it and made it.
Simply gets the tip .40" further away from the burner itself. Tapered at the end to create the visual effect of 'pointing the eyes' toward the tip in use. Can be especially useful for the short flat tips (think waffle tips) that essentially sit right on the end of the burner.
Not a necessary item by any means, but if you have less then stellar eyesight, or just feel like you would prefer the tip to be a bit further from the main shaft of the burner, this will fix you up. No need to over torque, just screw in firmly!
