Stainless Steel Black Oxide Coated screw for all metal NUB MOD®. Vibratite thread locker pre-applied.
Personally, I've used the standard Alloy steel black oxide screw while snowshoeing, working in the rain etc, with the same Nub Mod/Screw for a five years with no issues with rust.
However, a couple customers in Florida stated that they had screws starting to rust, so I wanted to offer a solution for customers who know they will be exposing their holster to high moisture/salt water areas.
Be advised, Black oxide on SS does not bond as well, so if you have a safety on your weapon that hits the Nub Mod on occasion, it may remove the coating, exposing the SS.
