If You have the injection molded 7TS™ material holster you need The 7TS 1911 Nub Mod (click here).

This Nub Mod is being discontinued in aluminum, and we recommend you purchase the SIG SAO Nub Mod if these are out of stock.

This is the only NUB MOD® suitable for use with a 1911 holster that has the large 'safety shield' built into the body of the holster. A slightly narrowed profile on the gun side, and a small beveled edge allow it to function with the 1911 holster without any interference.

Fits just inside of the 'safety shield', so it will also work with after-market large safeties.  If you remove the safety shield you MAY be able to use an ALS Nub Mod to clear the weapon safety properly, depending on the size of your safety. See last Images. This NUB MOD® is needed for M&P's with safeties, and Sig 229's.

This does NOT fit Level III Holsters!  You need this: 1911 for Level III

Made from aluminum and finished with mil-spec anodizing, this is made to last!

Faster:  The reversed angle matches up with the pad of your thumb sooner than the factory button. You will find the gun in your hand just by grabbing it. Weak hand drawing becomes faster as well.

More Reliable: The wider release button means you have even less potential to miss the activation, especially on thigh rigs or mounting systems that push the holster away from your body.

If you have ever found yourself pulling up on the gun before hitting the release you've noticed that gun is difficult to almost impossible to get out. The additional leverage of the Nub Mod fixes this stress induced or poor training problem if it ever arises due to the increased surface area for the thumb to engage.

Simple Install: Simply press the larger nub piece over the factory button from the inside of the holster.  Align the smaller narrow piece with the top of the larger one. Insert screw and tighten with supplied allen wrench.

Made in the U.S.A.
